The Community Liver Alliance invites you to join us for the HCC Virtual Liver Journal Club on March 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET.
The Community Liver Alliance HCC Liver Journal Club will educate hepatologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists, primary care physicians and other health care providers involved in the management of patients with liver disease. Together, we will critically evaluate recent articles in the academic and medical literature. The goals of the HCC Liver Journal Club is to help providers to learn and improve their critical appraisal skills, encourage evidence-based medicine, promote awareness of research skills, keep abreast with new literature, encourage use of research, promote social contact and provide continuing medical education.
Our Liver Journal Club Director is Samer Tohme, MD John J. Fung/ Astellas Pharma US, Inc. Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgery, UPMC Liver Cancer Center.
The Liver Journal Club will feature the following presentations outlined in the agenda below. There will be a 5-minute presentation and 5-minute discussion by faculty, per article.
